Dekton, by Cosentino, is made using a high-tech process called Sinterized Particle Technology which recreates and accelerates the same metamorphic change that natural stone undergoes when subjected to high temperatures and pressure over thousands of years. The result of this process is a zero porous, ultra-compact, zero-defect stone. Since it’s man-made we can produce a large piece with no cuts, seams or joints. It has the appeal of a completely uniform surface, which fits seamlessly into very different design styles. Dekton is Resistant to stains, Scratch Resistant, Heat, and Cold Resistant (can be used outside), UV resistant, Waterproof, and more.
